Refund Policy and Billing Disputes

2.1. Preclusion of Refunds

Refunds are not a matter of right but a concession granted solely at the Company's discretion.

Dedicated Infrastructure

Payments regarding Dedicated Servers are strictly non-refundable immediately upon the allocation of hardware resources.

Virtual Private Servers (VPS)

A conditional refund window is restricted to forty-eight (48) hours from the timestamp of initial provisioning, applicable exclusively to the inaugural billing cycle.

2.2. Game Server Specific Refund Protocols and Waivers

For Game Hosting Services, the Subscriber acknowledges that a refund request shall only be entertained within a strict forty-eight (48) hour limitation period from the moment of transaction, contingent upon the satisfaction of the following dual predicates:

  • The Service exhibits a verifiable, total structural failure attributable solely to the Company's backend infrastructure; AND
  • The Company's technical support engineers have formally declared the issue unresolvable.

2.2.1. Categorical Exclusions and Waivers (Game Hosting)

The Subscriber expressly waives any claim to a refund under the following scenarios:

Operational Definition

The server instance responds to ICMP packets or TCP/UDP handshakes from the Company's internal network (deemed "Functionally Delivered").

Client-Side Incompatibilities

Inability to access the Service due to version discrepancies, proprietary software edition mismatches (e.g., Bedrock/Java), or local network restrictions (NAT type, Firewall, ISP throttling).

User-Generated Instability

Service disruption caused by the installation of unstable third-party modifications ("Mods"), plugins, scripts, or erroneous configuration files.

Illicit Client Usage

Issues arising from the use of unauthorized, "cracked," or "offline-mode" client software.

Subjective Dissatisfaction

Claims based on aesthetic preference, lack of features not explicitly advertised, or general buyer's remorse.

2.3. Promotional and Discounted Services

Services purchased using promotional discounts, coupon codes, or special offers are strictly non-refundable. Additionally, such services are ineligible for plan upgrades or downgrades. The Subscriber acknowledges that discounted pricing represents a final sale with no modifications permitted to the service tier.

2.4. Forfeiture Upon Breach

Notwithstanding any other provision, a violation of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) resulting in service termination shall result in the immediate and total forfeiture of any remaining account credits or potential refund eligibility.

2.4. Chargebacks

Initiation of a chargeback or payment dispute with a financial institution without prior engagement with GigaNodes billing support shall result in the immediate and permanent suspension of all services and blacklisting of the Subscriber's identity.

The Company reserves the right to employ debt collection agencies to recover disputed amounts and administrative costs.

Important Notice

We encourage all customers to contact our billing support team before initiating any disputes with their financial institution. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably through direct communication.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the eligible timeframe:

  1. Log in to your client area at my.giganodes.host
  2. Open a support ticket in the Billing department
  3. Provide your order number and detailed reason for the refund request
  4. Our team will review your request within 24-48 hours
  5. If approved, refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method
